The Newton Children’s Book Festival is organized by local authors and literacy advocates from Newton, Massachusetts. We are passionate about inspiring young readers and celebrating the joy of storytelling in our community.
Newton Children’s Book Festival is an effort of the nonprofit Read Your World.
At the Newton Children’s Book Festival, we celebrate the richness of diverse voices and stories. We believe that literature is a powerful tool for fostering understanding, empathy, and connection across different cultures and experiences. We welcome authors of all voices, especially those from marginalized communities.
Newton Children’s Book Festival and Read Your World’s office is located on the traditional homelands of the Nonantum people whose diverse tribal communities share stewardship over this land.
